ROBERT P. DOHN graduated from Fairfield University (AB cum laude) in 1970 and received a master’s degree from American University School of Government and Public Administration in 1971 before receiving his law degree from Fordham Law School in 1975.

Mr. Dohn joined the firm in 1975. He represents clients in trusts and estates planning (tax planning; business succession planning; charitable and special needs planning); and the administration of trusts and estates. He has extensive experience in the preparation of estate, fiduciary and gift tax returns. He also has expertise in all aspects of residential purchases and sales and commercial real estate, and represents clients in the commercial leasing of office and retail properties. Mr. Dohn also represents small businesses in their formation, governing documents, and purchases and sales.

He has lived in the Bronxville area of Westchester County since 1979. He is active in various charitable and religious organizations. Mr. Dohn is a Director of the Legal Aid Society of Westchester County and a past president of the Community Fund of Bronxville (Eastchester and Tuckahoe). He served as Trustee of the Church of St. Joseph Bronxville New York from 1991-1998. He is a past president of the Westchester Artificial Kidney Center and Westchester Artificial Kidney Foundation. Mr. Dohn served as a member of the Grievance Committee for the Ninth Judicial District from 1991 to 1999. He also served as Chairman of the Grievance Committee of the Westchester County Bar Association from 2000 to 2005 and continues as a current member of that Committee. Mr. Dohn is a member of both the New York State and Westchester County Bar Associations.
